This Grand Jury was selected on May 2nd, 2022 and first heard evidence on June 1st, 2022. The Grand Jury was impaneled to investigate a specific issue: the facts and circumstances relating directly or indirectly to possible attempts to disrupt the lawful administration of the 2020 presidential elections in the State of Georgia. On 28 August 2023, the undersigned entered an Order directing that, absent objection, the Special Purpose Grand Jury's final report that sets forth its findings and recommendations to the District Attorney of Fulton County concerning its investigation into possible criminal interference in the 2020 general election in Georgia be entered into the public docket on 8 September 2023.
